I always have been very happy with Better Homes and Gardens magazine. This magazine has articles not only about garden and house but much more. I like how they do letter reviews and the magazine is not afraid of self criticism. It also has wonderful articles about gardens, flowers, vegetable gardens, Christmas decorations, food recipes, what to buy for gifts and much more!!! Better Homes & Gardens magazine is essential in my household. There is a variety of subjects from home decorating ideas to advice on raising children. I especially look forward to the recipe section every month. There are beautiful color pictures and easy to follow directions make even a novice cook successful in the kitchen. I must say in all honesty it is one of the BEST women’s' magazines out on the market, not only is it informative, but enjoyable as well. Now that I have started a new hobby, Gardening, I love the magazine even more, it gives me great ideas and directions on how to plant my flowers and shrubs. If you are looking for ideas for that next decorating project, more than likely you can find at least one article each month in Better Homes and Gardens. With a focus on friends and family, gardening, interior design, building, family matters, flood, good health and shopping, you can't go wrong!
I like the "Yours for the Asking" section where you can send away a postcard for more information instead of contacting each company.
For mom's, the "kids project" section will be amusing and your kids will love the ideas.
The cartoons are also cute and I had to laugh at the one that said: "Of course I love you. Didn't you get my fax?"
The recipe section really has a personality all of its own. I find a lot of that I actually want to prepare...unusual for most magazines.
